🅿️ Parking Rules in Dubai

Payment Methods for Public Parking:

SMS: Send a message to 7275 with the parking zone code and duration.
RTA Dubai App: Use the official RTA app to pay parking fees conveniently.
NOL Card: Use your NOL card at designated parking meters.
Coins: Use 1 AED and 0.5 AED coins at parking machines.

🚫 Warning: Failure to pay may result in a fine of AED 150.

🚗 Driving Rules and Safety in Dubai

✅ Seat Belts: Mandatory for all passengers.
✅ Mobile Phone Use: Strictly prohibited without hands-free. Fine: AED 800 + 4 black points.
✅ Speed Limits: Vary by road; always follow posted signs.
🚫 Driving Under the Influence: Completely forbidden and results in severe penalties, including fines, car impoundment, and jail time.

⚠️ In Case of Accident or Damage

Police Report is Mandatory: Even for minor damage (e.g., curbs, poles, or walls), a police report is required.

Important Notes:

Failure to provide a police report voids insurance coverage.
The customer will be liable for full repair costs plus AED 1,500 admin penalty for violating rental terms.
In case of an incident, call 999 immediately to request the accident report.

💸 Salik System (Toll Gates)

Salik is Dubai’s electronic toll system, active at specific city points.

How it works: AED 6 (peak) or AED 4 (off-peak) is automatically deducted when passing a gate.
Charges: Salik fees will be collected at the end of the rental period.

🚭 Smoking & Vehicle Cleanliness

No Smoking: Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. AED 550 will be charged if any smoke odor is detected.
Cleanliness: Please return the car in good condition. If the car is returned excessively dirty (e.g., food, drinks, sand), an additional cleaning fee may apply.
