Terms & Conditions
1. General Eligibility
- Driver’s Age: The standard minimum age to rent a car is 21 years old, with a driving license held for at least 1 year.
Drivers under 25 years old may rent a vehicle subject to availability and may be subject to a higher excess fee, depending on the car category and insurance terms. - Documents: Residents must provide a valid UAE License and Emirates ID. Tourists require a Passport, Visa, and Home Country License (plus International Driving Permit/IDP for non-exempt countries).
- Geographical Limits: Vehicles are strictly for use within the United Arab Emirates (UAE) boundaries. Traveling to Oman or Saudi Arabia is prohibited without prior written approval.
2. Deposit, No Deposit & Payment Policy
- NO DEPOSIT Policy: No-deposit rentals may be offered to customers who provide a valid Credit Card (subject to company approval). We prioritize a hassle-free experience for our clients.
- Credit Card Authorization: For “No Deposit” rentals, the credit card allows us to secure authorization for potential future charges. By choosing this option, you authorize the company to recover costs like traffic fines, Salik, damages, or fuel differences directly from the card issuer if required.
- Security Deposit Refund (Cash/Debit): If a security deposit is collected (for Cash/Debit card payments), it will be refunded within just 7 working days after the vehicle is returned. This is subject to clearance of traffic fines, Salik, fuel differences, and inspection.
- End of Contract Charges: All customers are fully responsible for settling outstanding costs (rental fees, fines, Salik, fuel, damages) immediately at the end of the rental contract and upon vehicle return.
- Post-Return Liability: The customer remains fully responsible for any fines or charges issued after the vehicle is returned and agrees to settle them promptly upon notification.
- Company Rights: The company reserves the right to request a security deposit at any time if deemed necessary based on the rental type or circumstances.
3. Insurance, Liability & Impounding
- Comprehensive Insurance: Included in the rental price. Covers damages only with a valid Police Report.
- Excess Fee: As per UAE insurance policy, an excess fee applies only when the hirer is at fault (amount varies by car category).
- Downtime Period: If the damage is due to the hirer’s fault, daily rental charges apply during the downtime period.
- Police Report: Mandatory for ANY damage. Without it, the hirer is liable for 100% of repair costs + rental charges for the downtime days.
- Impounding: If the car is impounded due to the hirer’s violation (e.g., speeding), the hirer is liable for impound fees plus the daily rental rate for the holding duration.
- Valuables: We are not responsible for any personal belongings left in the vehicle.
4. Mileage, Fuel & Hygiene
- Mileage Policy: Daily rentals include 250 KM per day. Excess KM is charged according to the car model.
- Fuel Policy: “Same-to-Same”. The car must be returned with the same fuel level as received.
- Smoking Policy: Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited. A cleaning fine (min. AED 550) applies for smoke odor or stained interiors.
5. Replacement Vehicle Policy
- If the reserved vehicle is unavailable due to unforeseen issues (accident, breakdown), the company reserves the right to provide a similar or alternative replacement vehicle.
- The replacement may be provided temporarily or for the full duration of the rental period.
